Plumbing and Other Services

1. Definitions

  • Service Provider: Handyman297 Contractor.
  • Client: The individual or entity requesting leak detection services.

2. Scope of Services

Handyman297 Contractor specializes in leak detection services using advanced tools and techniques to locate leaks in residential and commercial properties. Services may include visual inspections, pressure testing, and the use of electronic or acoustic detection equipment.

3. Service Fees

  • Residential Leak Detection:
    • Afl. 350.00 for the first 2 hours.
    • Additional hours charged at Afl. 125.00 per hour.
  • Commercial Leak Detection:
    • An initial inspection fee of Afl. 125.00 applies.
    • Additional costs will be quoted based on the complexity and scope of the property.
  • Fees are chargeable regardless of the detection outcome, as they reflect the time, effort, and resources expended during the inspection.

4. Limitations of Service

  • Leak detection does not guarantee the successful identification of all leaks.
  • Some leaks, such as small or silent leaks, may be challenging to locate due to their complexity or obscured location.
  • Leak detection services do not include repairs or restoration of areas disturbed during the inspection unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Inspection Process

  • The Client authorizes Handyman297 Contractor to perform the necessary tests and inspections to locate leaks, which may include accessing restricted or concealed areas.
  • Any modifications to the property required for detection purposes (e.g., cutting into walls or flooring) are the responsibility of the Client and must be authorized before commencement.

6. Payment Terms

  • Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Accepted payment methods include cash, bank transfer, or credit card.
  • Late payments may incur additional charges or interest.

7. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service.
  • Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment will incur a cancellation fee of Afl. 175.00.

8. Warranty

  • Leak detection services are warranted for accuracy at the time of the inspection.
  • This warranty does not cover undetected leaks, future leak occurrences, or consequential damages.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • Handyman297 Contractor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from undetected leaks or issues identified during the inspection.
  • The Client agrees to hold the Service Provider harmless for outcomes that are not within their control.

10. Privacy Policy

Personal information provided by the Client will only be used for service-related purposes and will not be shared with third parties without explicit consent.

11. Force Majeure

Handyman297 Contractor shall not be held responsible for delays or inability to perform services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters or governmental actions.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Aruba. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Aruba.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By requesting and accepting services from Handyman297 Contractor, the Client acknowledges and agrees to these Terms and Conditions.
